Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer to lead planning, design, and oversight for water resources projects in the Carolinas.

You will conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, prepare plans and reports, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with DOT, municipal, and private clients. Open to hybrid/remote work options across SC offices, with projects in Rock Hill, Greenville, Columbia, Charleston, and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in stormwater management and drainage design.
• Proficient with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling tools (HEC-RAS, SWMM).
• Familiar with CAD software such as MicroStation/Geopak Drainage.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning, design, and construction oversight for DOT and municipal clients.
• Complete hydrologic/hydraulic computations and modeling.
• Prepare construction drawings for water resources projects.
• Coordinate design development and mentor junior staff.
• Develop proposals, cost estimates, and project deliverables.
• Ensure work stays on schedule and within budget.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team.
