Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants seeks a Senior or Principal Water Resources Engineer/Scientist to work on advanced hydrologic and hydraulic studies across Florida locations, including Jacksonville and West Palm Beach. You will lead urban stormwater and green infrastructure design efforts, perform floodplain analyses, and coordinate multi‑discipline project teams.

The role requires a strong background in water resources, 8+ years of experience, and PE/PG or similar registrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental or civil engineering with emphasis on water resources (required).
• Advanced degree in the same field (preferred).
• Professional registration (P.E., P.G., CPESC, CPSWG) required.

Responsibilities

• Performing and overseeing detailed hydrologic and hydraulic studies.
• Developing innovative green infrastructure solutions for urban environments.
• Interacting with client representatives and directing multidisciplinary teams.
• Scoping, performing, and delivering multiple concurrent project assignments.
• Supporting business development and mentoring other staff.
