At AtkinsRéalis in Austin, TX, we are seeking a Senior Water Market Leader to drive the water business strategy and prominence in the Greater Austin market.

You will lead multiple water/wastewater projects, negotiate contracts, mentor teams, oversee scopes, schedules and budgets, and build strong client relationships to win and deliver key engagements.

A Texas PE license and 15+ years of relevant experience, with proven writing and communication skills, are required.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Engineering; MS preferred.
• PE license in Texas required.
• 15+ years of technical experience with local Austin-area familiarity preferred.
• Experience in water/wastewater infrastructure projects including budgeting and scheduling.
• Excellent technical writing and communication; strong client relations and business development skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple water/wastewater projects and drive strategy for the Austin market.
• Negotiate contracts with clients and sub-consultants; mentor project teams.
• Provide QA/QC and expert advice; manage scopes, schedules and budgets.
• Develop and maintain key client relationships and support business development.
• Prepare project work plans and final design reports; ensure timely deliveries.
