AtkinsRéalis seeks a Senior Water Market Leader to join our Austin, TX team. You will drive water infrastructure strategy for the Greater Austin market, lead project teams, and cultivate key client relationships to grow our water business.

You will manage multiple projects, oversee budgets and schedules, mentor staff, and contribute to proposals and business development while ensuring QA/QC and technical excellence across complex water/wastewater initiatives.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Engineering; MS preferred.
• PE license in Texas is required.
• At least 15 years of technical experience; local Austin area experience highly desirable.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
• Demonstrated client relationship and business development skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide water industry-leading knowledge and prominence to AtkinsRéalis business projects and initiatives.
• Drive strategy for the water business with emphasis on water infrastructure in the Greater Austin market.
• Develop and manage strategic relationships with key clients.
• Identify and recruit staff critical to growth and success of the firm.
• Identify and support business development activities and proposal development.
• Serve as Project Manager for multiple projects; negotiate contracts with clients and sub-consultants.
• Support clients in formulating innovative solutions to drive project success.
• Mentor project teams and provide QA/QC guidance on complex projects.
• Lead progress meetings and ensure schedules, budgets, and client needs are met.
• Prepare project scopes, work plans, and final reports.
