Job summary

HDR, Inc. in Boston is seeking a Senior Project Engineer (Water/Wastewater) to design and deliver complex water infrastructure projects, lead multi-disciplinary teams, develop plans and specifications, and ensure high-quality, sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
10+ years of experience in water infrastructure.
Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams across locations.
Strong vendor and client coordination.

Responsibilities

Independently create detailed designs, plans, specifications for water facilities and infrastructure projects
Manage and coordinate multi-discipline teams from separate locations to produce high level, high quality deliverables
Guide the planning and execution of complex and multi-disciplinary studies, simulations, and plans for water infrastructure projects
Take responsibility for engineering design, project coordination, specifications, planning, and client interaction
Establish new quality standards and value engineering solutions
Conduct quality control reviews of deliverables
Serve as a technical expert in one water systems and water infrastructure
Serve as a project manager on water projects as needed
Perform other duties as needed
