HDR is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead water infrastructure projects in the New England region. You will independently design facilities, manage multi-disciplinary teams across locations, and deliver high-quality engineering solutions for water systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years experience with water infrastructure or related facilities
• Professional Engineer license recognized by the licensing board (PE, P.Eng)
• Ability to lead independent decisions and be accountable
• Strong technical background in water solutions and multi-disciplinary teams
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and design/delivery platforms
• Project engineering and project management experience
• Commitment to employee-owned culture

Responsibilities

• Independently create detailed designs, plans and specifications for water facilities and infrastructure projects
• Coordinate multi-discipline teams across locations to deliver high-quality results
• Lead planning and execution of complex water infrastructure studies and simulations
• Write engineering specifications, plan work, size equipment, and interact with clients
• Establish new quality standards and value engineering solutions
• Conduct quality control reviews of deliverables
• Serve as a technical expert in water systems
• Act as project manager on water projects as needed
• Perform other duties as required
