Job summary

BELFOR Property Restoration is seeking a Specialist in Water Damage - Advanced to lead drying and repair projects for residential, commercial, industrial and institutional buildings. You will manage teams, review project requirements, and ensure documentation and safety standards are met on site.

The role requires strong knowledge of IICRC S500/S520, moisture mapping, HVAC integration, and the ability to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

Knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard.
Knowledge of IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard.
Current IICRC ASD designation.
Proficiency with moisture meters and IR cameras.
Ability to read plans and floor plans; create moisture maps.
Understanding of HVAC integration and electrical power for drying equipment.
Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends.
Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

Direct teams in PPE usage for the job.
Review daily project requirements and report progress to managers.
Provide field documentation, photos, charts and sketches for projects.
Read plans, develop humidity content records and determine objectives.
Calculate humidity load and cubic meters affected; request extra support as needed.
Determine electrical consumption and temporary power needs.
Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and maintain equipment.
Travel and work nights and weekends as required.
Attend BELFOR operations and security trainings.
