Job summary

The candidate will mentor staff, manage procurement and scheduling, and collaborate with HDR teams to achieve project goals while upholding safety, quality, and budget standards.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in construction planning and management including estimating, bidding, PO/subcontracts, scheduling and cost control.
• 15 years of experience with large municipal water and wastewater construction projects.
• Experience with construction management software packages and Microsoft Office, Prolog, Primavera, etc.
• Must have strong people skills and interact with the design team.

Responsibilities

• Develop market strategies and pursue new opportunities in Southern California.
• Lead subcontractor coordination, scheduling and quality control.
• Oversee water and wastewater projects including transmission and distribution systems, pumping stations, reservoirs and treatment facilities.
• Collaborate with Client Managers and HDR teams to strengthen client relationships and project outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to time, cost, quality, and risk management practices and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate, review and manage submittals, procurement, and construction performance presentations.
