City of Palm Bay is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Plant Supervisor to direct operations at the North Regional Utilities Campus. The role involves planning, supervising staff, conducting tests, and ensuring compliance with EPA and Florida regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, 6+ years in plant operations, and 3 years of supervisory experience. A Florida Class A operator license and a valid driver’s license are required. The position offers solid benefits and stability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with 6+ years in wastewater treatment plant operations.
• Associate degree or coursework in wastewater technology, environmental science, or related field preferred.
• Three (3) years of supervisory experience required. Florida Driver’s License and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the wastewater treatment plant and facilities per EPA and state regulations.
• Supervise plant personnel, assign work, schedule tasks, and coordinate laboratory tests.
• Prepare and review regulatory reports and permits; liaise with authorities as needed.
• Oversee budget administration and equipment maintenance; ensure safety and compliance.
