Responsibilities

Oversees a staff of 8–10 employees in the operation of water treatment plants.
Ensures safe, continuous operation of filters, pumps, controls, and chemical application.
Participates in hiring, promotion, and discipline decisions for department staff.
Directs repairs and maintenance of pumping and treatment machinery and equipment.
Maintains records, prepares reports, and develops safety programs for workers.
Ensures regulatory compliance across the water production and distribution system.
Determines work hours and shifts for water treatment operators.
Provides input on budget recommendations to the Superintendent.
