Job summary

Woodard & Curran is seeking a Wastewater Operations & Maintenance Technician in Acton, MA to operate and maintain the wastewater treatment facility and collection systems. The role requires a Massachusetts Grade 4 Wastewater Operator License and hands-on O&M experience, with duties spanning routine maintenance, laboratory tasks, recordkeeping, and process control.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Grade 4 Wastewater Operator License is required.
• Experience operating and maintaining a wastewater treatment facility.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and document activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication with staff and public.
• Ability to work outdoors and in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the wastewater treatment facility as directed by the Plant/Project Manager.
• Maintain collection system components and related equipment.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and repairs of plant equipment.
• Complete daily inspections and rounds of operating sites.
• Collect data for reports including Monthly Operating Report.
