Job summary

Woodard & Curran is seeking an O&M Technician to join the Acton, MA wastewater facility team. You will help operate and maintain the plant, collection system, and related equipment, ensuring daily monitoring and reliable process control.

The role involves hands-on maintenance, inspections, data recording for the Monthly Operating Report, and collaboration with operations staff to follow safety and operating policies. On-call rotation and possible weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

Massachusetts Grade 4 Wastewater Operator License is required.
OPERATION and MAINTENANCE experience at a wastewater facility or equivalent.
Ability to perform routine preventive maintenance, inspections, lubrication, and documentation.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, staff, and the public.
Ability to support general building upkeep and site maintenance.

Responsibilities

Participate in the daily operation and maintenance of the wastewater treatment facility, as directed by the Plant/Project Manager.
Participate in daily operation and maintenance of the collection system and components, as directed by the Plant/Project Manager.
Assist with preventive maintenance and repairs for plant-related equipment.
Complete daily inspections and rounds of the operating sites.
Gather information for report preparation, including data for the Monthly Operating Report.
Coordinate with operations staff to follow established administrative, safety, and operating policies.
