Job summary

Woodard & Curran is seeking an O&M Technician to support the Acton, MA wastewater facility. You will help operate and maintain plant and collection systems, perform routine maintenance, inspections, and data reporting, and assist with lab work and safety compliance.

This full-time role requires a Massachusetts Grade 4 Wastewater Operator License, hands-on site maintenance experience, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather while supporting emissions and process control.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Grade 4 Wastewater Operator License is required.
• Operations and maintenance experience at a wastewater treatment facility or equivalent.
• Ability to perform routine preventive maintenance, inspections, lubrication, basic adjustments, cleaning, and documentation.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, other personnel, and the public.
• Ability to support building upkeep and site maintenance including snow/ice, mowing, cleaning, painting, minor carpentry.
• Familiarity with biological and chemical treatment processes with aptitude for lab analysis and recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the wastewater treatment facility as directed by the Plant or Project Manager.
• Operate the collection system and related components as directed.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and repairs of plant equipment.
• Complete daily inspections and rounds of operating sites.
• Gather data for reports, including Monthly Operating Report.
