Woodard & Curran seeks a Massachusetts-licensed wastewater operator with at least two years of operations/maintenance experience. The role offers a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule and growth opportunities within a national firm, plus support for certifications and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Grade III Wastewater Operator License is required.
• Two years of wastewater treatment operations and maintenance experience or equivalent education/experience.
• High school diploma or trade school certification.
• Valid Massachusetts driver's license.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with wastewater treatment processes, lab procedures, recordkeeping, and equipment maintenance.
• Regularly lift up to 40 pounds.
• Walk facility and collection system to perform inspections and rounds.
• Climb ladders, stairs, and access elevated structures.
• Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and operational rounds across the facility and collection system.
• Work with operators, engineers, scientists and environmental professionals to maintain clean water systems.

Requirements

• Massachusetts Grade III Wastewater Operator License
• At least two years of wastewater treatment operations and maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• High school diploma or trade school certification
• Valid Massachusetts driver's license
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with wastewater treatment processes, laboratory procedures, recordkeeping, and equipment maintenance
• Regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds
• Walk throughout the facility and collection system to perform inspections and operational rounds
• Climb ladders, stairs, and access elevated structures as needed
• Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and work in confined spaces when required
• Work safely in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow
• Respond to emergency situations outside of normal work hours as needed
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety procedures
