Job summary

The Chefs’ Warehouse is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Hanover, MD to oversee planning, warehousing, and control of materials, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with USDA and FDA regulations.

You will lead a team, manage procurement partnerships, and collaborate across departments to support product launches and timely delivery of finished goods to customers. Strong leadership and 5+ years in food distribution management are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (four year college or university)
• In lieu of degree, minimum of 5 years’ experience
• Minimum five years related experience in a high level management position with P&L responsibility
• Produce and/or food distribution experience required
• Working knowledge of USDA & FDA compliance

Responsibilities

• Oversees planning, warehousing and control of materials from forecasted replenishment to delivery into finished goods inventory
• Maintains regulatory compliance with USDA and FDA requirements
• Participates in product planning to support launches
• Oversees all warehouse operations
• Manages delivery of finished goods to customers
• Executes special projects in a timely manner
• Assists with annual goals and objectives aligned with corporate objectives
• Hires, coaches and mentors, builds strong teams
• Collaborates with Executive Management Team
