Job summary

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) invites applications for a Warehouse Supervisor for the Terrell State Hospital campus. This working supervisor role leads the warehouse team, coordinates daily activities, and ensures secure, efficient inventory operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include staff training, replenishment, reporting to executives, and cross-training on new software and handheld devices.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or GED.
• Prior work experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Prior work experience supervising others in a warehouse setting or similar environment.
• Forklift Driver Training or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attends work on a regular and predictable schedule.
• Manages, trains, assigns work, and reviews staff in warehousing procedures; ensures stock levels and safety across facilities.
• Oversees inventory and stock control records, runs warehouse reports, and maintains FIFO accountability.
• Handles hiring, time schedules, leave approvals, terminations and performance management with HR.
• Creates training processes and provides hands-on training across multiple facilities.
