Job summary

Health & Human Services Commission (HHSC) is hiring a Warehouse Specialist I for the Terrell State Hospital facility. The role focuses on inventory control, order fulfillment, and safe handling of warehouse items with daily tasks and COOP responsibilities.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with warehouse experience and forklift training preferred. It offers full-time hours, day shift, and benefits aligned with HHSC standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or GED is required.
• Prior warehouse/inventory experience is preferred.
• Forklift Driver Training and valid driver's license are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Attends work regularly and on schedule.
• Reviews picking tickets and processes items for delivery to units.
• Loads and unloads stock using lifting equipment and transports goods via state vehicle.
• Records inventory data into automated systems and assists with stock checks.
• Performs COOP duties and adheres to safety and policy requirements.
