ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

PEOPLE LEADER
Our people leaders are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are achieved by:

  • Developing warehouse staff members assigned to the area
  • Ensuring all operation associates perform their duties and responsibilities in accordance with applicable standard operation procedures (SOPs)
  • Completing all special projects assigned by the Operations Manager or their designated representative
  • Demonstrating effective problem investigation and resolution skills
  • Monitoring, tracking and disciplining staff employees as necessary
  • Facilitating a safe operational environment for all employees by strictly complying with and enforcing all company safety requirements
  • All other duties as assigned

People leaders must possess both the skills to effectively accomplish these tasks and the emotional intelligence to do so in alignment with our cultural values. This role also includes the following unique responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all operations associates are in compliance with Current Good Distribution Practices (cGDP) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
  • Proactively training, demonstrating, instructing, and counseling employees to ensure that SOPs are followed and productivity targets are met
  • Supervising and leading employees through a variable workload of tasks as dictated by dynamic client business needs
  • Working with the Operation Managers to evaluate and implement approved process changes to improve productivity
  • Promptly responding to Eversana client requests as required
  • Generating and submitting safety incident reports; ensuring that all members involved in safety incidents are sent for urinalysis immediately following the incident

  • Completing tasks with minimal supervision in a timely manner
  • Consistently meeting minimum productivity standards
  • Safely operating fork lift equipment without incident
  • Maintaining zero defect performance

  • Travel <5% Locally

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Effective reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • 1-5 years leadership experience within a 3PL/warehouse environment
  • Ability to set the pace in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to focus on detail and quality
  • Ability to efficiently use IT hardware, software and peripherals as it pertains to the performance of daily tasks
  • Ability to listen and respond with empathy and tact
  • Ability to safely and efficiently operate power equipment in a confined environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Communication: Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Experience and/or Training: Inventory Control, Cost Savings Initiatives, Production Scheduling, Lean Manufacturing, 5s, Product Implementation and Launch
  • Technology/Equipment: WMS Systems: AS 400, MARC, Manhattan, SAP, Red Prairie, MS Windows: Excel, Outlook
  • 2-3 years experience working in a warehouse, preferably in the receiving department
