Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
PEOPLE LEADER

  • Develop warehouse staff members assigned to the area.
  • Ensure all operation associates perform their duties and responsibilities in accordance with applicable standard operation procedures (SOPs).
  • Complete all special projects assigned by the Operations Manager or their designated representative.
  • Demonstrate effective problem investigation and resolution skills.
  • Monitor, track and discipline staff employees as necessary.
  • Facilitate a safe operational environment for all employees by strictly complying with and enforcing all company safety requirements.
  • All other duties as assigned.

People leaders must possess both the skills to effectively accomplish these tasks and the emotional intelligence to do so in alignment with our cultural values. In addition to the critical management and leadership tasks listed above, this role also includes the following unique responsibilities:

  • Ensure all operations associates are in compliance with Current Good Distribution Practices (cGDP) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Proactively train, demonstrate, instruct, and counsel employees to ensure that SOPs are followed and productivity targets are met.
  • Supervise and lead employees through a variable workload of tasks as dictated by dynamic client business needs.
  • Work with the Operation Managers to evaluate and implement approved process changes to improve productivity.
  • Promptly respond to Eversana client requests as required.
  • Generate and submit safety incident reports; ensure that all members involved in safety incidents are sent for urinalysis immediately following the incident.
Qualifications

  • Ensure all temperature-sensitive products are stored and transported under optimal conditions, maintaining the integrity of the cold chain.
  • Assist in directing the workflow while sharing the workload with co-workers.
  • Effectively communicate with co-workers and the supervisor regarding work requirements.
  • The ability to function as a conduit between supervisors and co-workers.
  • Pays meticulous attention to detail and possesses a task-oriented work ethic.
  • Flexibility and composure in response to changing requirements.
  • Ability to receive and convey information accurately in a timely manner.
  • Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision in a timely manner on a daily basis.
  • Ability to consistently meet minimum productivity standards.
  • Ability to safely operate forklift equipment without incident.
  • Ability to maintain zero defect performance.

  • Hours Monday - Friday; 8-12 hour shifts depending upon business need.

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required:

  • A college degree.
  • 1-5 years of leadership experience within a 3PL/warehouse environment.
  • Strong communication skills across multiple departments.
  • Effective reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to set the pace in team environment.
  • Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to focus on detail and quality.
  • Ability to efficiently use IT hardware, software and peripherals as it pertains to the performance of daily tasks.
  • Ability to listen and respond with empathy and tact.
  • Ability to safely and efficiently operate power equipment in a confined environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience and/or Training:
  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations management, preferably in a medical or pharmaceutical warehouse setting.
  • 1+ years of leadership experience focusing on the storage and transportation of temperature-sensitive products in a warehouse setting.
  • Inventory Control, Cost Savings Initiatives, Production Scheduling, Lean Manufacturing, 5s, Product Implementation and Launch.
  • Communication: Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Technology/Equipment: WMS Systems: AS 400, MARC, Manhattan, SAP, Red Prairie, MS Windows: Excel, Outlook.
