Job summary

Maersk West Chester, OH is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a team in warehouse and distribution tasks. The role entails supervising 20+ employees, planning workloads, and ensuring accurate inventory and on-time shipments.

The position is full-time, on-site, with day shifts (5:30am–2:30pm). Candidates should have a high school diploma and some related experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, EAP, PTO, and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory records – cycles, physicals, catch weight audits performed.
• Assist with Inventory Control. Maintains inventory accuracy. Maintain Supply Areas.
• Involves maintaining computerized records of inventory.
• Performing cycle count, investigate variances, adjust inventory records as required.
• Plans inbound and outbound schedules accordingly to meet customer metrics.
• Determines staffing needs based on work load and schedules staff accordingly.
• Assigns workers to specific duties based on work load and shipping schedules.
• Reviews and updates operational procedures and ensures understanding by warehouse staff.
• Tracks productivity and evaluates performance by individual and department.
• Ensures safety procedures are followed and maintains harmony among workers.
