Job summary

Capstone Logistics LLC is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to lead daily warehouse activities in Tulsa. The role requires a proven track record with at least 3 years of management responsibility in distribution/transportation, and the ability to hire, train, and supervise a team while maintaining safety and efficiency.

You will negotiate carrier rates, manage budgets, balance daily deposits, and prepare management reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of management experience in industrial/distribution setting.
• Experience training, coaching, and mentoring warehouse staff.
• Ability to read P&L statements and prepare related management reports.
• Proficient with MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Flexibility with shift start times, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate rates with carrier representatives.
• Run site with safety and efficiency as priorities.
• Balance daily bank deposits.
• Create daily work logs and transmit to corporate.
• Audit daily labor and billing reports.
• Ensure customer needs are met daily.
• Address customer service or associate issues daily.
• Enforce policies and safety rules.
• Hold weekly safety meetings.
• Assist in managing site and departmental budget.
• Schedule associate shifts based on customer requirements.
• Interview, hire, and train new associates.
• Supervise data entry for services performed.
• Complete daily closeout including cash balancing, data upload, and payroll records.
