Job summary

Gold Star Foods is seeking a Warehouse Manager in Dixon, CA to lead the entire warehouse operations, including planning, directing and coordinating storage and distribution activities. This role reports to the Director of Operations and requires strong leadership, inventory control, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will develop operating plans, supervise staff, interview applicants, evaluate performance, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring excellent customer service

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Extensive and diversified background with at least 3 years of related management experience.
• Travel 5-10%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, inventory and facility functions.
• Develop facility operating plans and oversee implementation.
• Confer with all departmental leaders to coordinate activities.
• Ensure that staff understand and implement proven, effective work practices.
• Interview job applicants and evaluate performance.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment rules.
• Implement profitability plan with continuous improvement ideas.
• Maintain safety, quality control and customer satisfaction.
• Lead change and mentor warehouse staff.
