Job summary

Gold Star Foods is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Dixon, CA to oversee daily warehouse activities, staff supervision, training, and safety programs. You will manage daily objectives, ensure accuracy, and maintain a productive, safe work environment.

The role requires at least 3 years in warehouse supervision, strong leadership, and solid knowledge of inventory control, shipping/receiving, and KPI tracking. Lift up to 50 lbs and occasional extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years warehouse supervisory or lead experience in a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop warehouse teams while maintaining a positive, safe, and productive work environment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory control, shipping/receiving, order accuracy, and productivity metrics.
• Experience enforcing safety, food safety (SQF), and compliance standards.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Execute the day-to-day activities and lead line level employees in their daily responsibilities.
• Ensure that the warehouse functions efficiently with a high degree of accuracy.
• Maintain high team spirit in a neat and safe work environment by improving morale and reducing turnover.
• Supervise staff and delegate required daily work tasks.
• Recommend personnel actions to Warehouse Managers, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions.
• Prioritize and schedule warehouse daily workload.
• Act as a liaison between Warehouse and Customer Service departments regarding issues impacting service.
• Direct the workflow and motivate and monitor performance of warehouse associates in order pulling for accurate, timely deliveries.
