Job summary

Greene, Tweed is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to lead all aspects of the plant's warehouse activities, including receiving, inventory, and cycle count, with a focus on cost efficiency and safety. You will design and continuously improve processes, coordinate inbound/outbound freight, and work with the leadership team to achieve key initiatives, applying Lean tools and 5S to eliminate waste.

The role requires 8+ years in warehousing leadership, a BS in Business Admin/Logistics, SAP

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a leadership role in warehousing or logistics.
• BS Degree in Business Administration or Logistics.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Experience directing, planning and scheduling work.
• Knowledge of SAP required.
• Lean or Six Sigma certification desired.
• Experience with export/compliance procedures (TSCA, RoHS, WEEE, DOT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain warehouse processes for inbound/outbound goods.
• Plan, direct, and control activities of staff in economical freight movement.
• Develop strategies aligned to business needs with Operations team.
• Apply root cause analysis to logistics problems.
• Coordinate receiving, shipping, and material handling with other functions.
• Promote Lean tools and 5S throughout warehouses.
• Identify resource needs and implement improvements.
