Job summary

Niagara Bottling seeks a Sr. Operations Manager - Warehouse to lead all aspects of a manufacturing plant, focusing on safety, quality, production and cost control.

This role provides a developmental path toward becoming Plant Director and requires strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities include driving a safe plant culture, ensuring product quality, meeting production goals, and managing cost controls while coordinating with purchasing, production, quality, and

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in field or similar manufacturing environment
• 6+ years of experience in the position
• 4+ years of experience managing people/projects
• Experience may include a combination of work experience and education
• Strong planning and organization skills; able to multi-task
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, or customers
• High sense of urgency; works well under pressure in fast-paced environment
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training
• Experience planning, assigning and directing work
• Experience appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees
• Experience addressing complaints and resolving problems

Responsibilities

• Lead a safe plant culture and ensure safety compliance
• Oversee product quality control for the plant
• Manage plant production goals and cost controls
• Direct and coordinate plant operations per policy and guidelines
• Collaborate with department managers for purchasing, production, quality and shipping
• Select and train plant supervisory and administrative staff
• Provide strong leadership and communication to motivate staff
• Conduct employee performance reviews and plant meetings
• Ensure maintenance of clean and safe plant facilities
• Communicate operations to plant director and executives
