Job summary

C&F Enterprises Inc. is seeking an experienced leader to direct Warehouse and Operations across multiple sites in Virginia. The role focuses on promoting core values, elevating customer service, and achieving productivity through safe, cost-effective practices.

You will manage diverse teams, develop strategic objectives, and ensure regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement in processes and systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Transportation/Logistics Management or equivalent experience
• Minimum 10 years of warehouse management field experience, strongly preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience developing and executing strategy initiatives
• Knowledge of regulations relating to transportation and warehouse operations
• Expertise in inventory control and order fulfillment standards and metrics
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory control and workforce scheduling
• Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes through direct and indirect resources
• Proficiency with computerized inventory management systems
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Excel

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to facilitate excellence in customer service execution.
• Drive strategic objectives to remove barriers and improve processes.
• Oversee multi-site warehouse facilities and the invoice department functions.
• Coach Managers and Supervisors to achieve productivity and inventory goals.
• Develop and implement short- and long-term operational strategies.
• Direct carrier management processes including selection and performance evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, fire safety standards, and forklift certifications.
• Lead performance reviews and address employee development goals.
• Maintain continuous improvement in WMS and related systems.
• Foster a strong safety culture across all facilities.
