Qualifications

• A 4 year bachelor's degree in Business or Transportation/Logistics Management and/or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of warehouse management field experience, strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing and executing strategy initiatives required.
• Knowledge of regulations relating to transportation and warehouse operations.
• Expertise in inventory control and order fulfillment standards and metrics.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory control and workforce scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to facilitate excellence in customer service execution.
• Champions, initiates, and drives strategic objectives to remove barriers and improve processes.
• Oversees multi-site warehouse facilities and related teams, including invoice department functions.
• Directs managers in performance management and coaching to achieve productivity goals.
• Drives safety culture and compliance with OSHA and other regulations.
• Manages carrier selection and performance evaluation when applicable.
• Guides ongoing improvements in inventory control, shipping and receiving.
