Job summary

thyssenkrupp Supply Chain Services seeks a Warehouse Team Lead I to coordinate and monitor activities on the floor. You will train staff on new work instructions and interact with the Customer’s management at all levels to ensure satisfaction.

You will oversee inspection processes, maintain safety compliance, and report incidents promptly. This role requires strong organization and the ability to manage up to 15 people on varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a team lead or supervisor.
• Strong leadership and multi-tasking ability.
• Ability to manage a team of up to 15 people.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Willing to work days, afternoons, nights, overtime and weekend shifts.
• Experience in automotive or industrial setting a plus.
• Comfortable with scanners and tablets for data entry and time entries.
• Professional interactions with customers/vendors.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inspection process for assigned tables and products.
• Lead by example and maintain good housekeeping.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and report accidents immediately.
• Coordinate start-of-shift activities and prepare required paperwork.
• Ensure tools/materials are available for on-site work.
• Provide on-the-job training for new instructions when applicable.
• Be accountable for personnel assigned to each job.
• Provide input to Onsite Manager on task completion.
• Report policy/ procedure violations to Onsite Manager.
• Support health and safety initiatives and requirements.
• Interact with Customer regularly to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate daily documentation and paperwork.
• Ensure tool kits, PPE, and materials are available.
• Comply with Customer and tk regulations and work rules.
• Maintain site badge access as required.
• Conduct cycle time studies to assist with quoting new jobs.
