ABB is seeking a Senior Supervisor to lead Byhalia Distribution Center operations, directing inbound/outbound, inventory control, replenishment, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure on-time delivery. The role coaches supervisors and associates, manages labor and performance, and drives safety, cost, and quality metrics across the shift.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of progressive experience in distribution, fulfillment, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or related operations.
• Three or more years of experience leading employees in a high-volume operation.
• Ability to work second shift (4:00 PM - 12:30 AM or 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM).
• Experience leading frontline supervisors and coordinating across multiple functions.
• Experience using warehouse management systems, labor or productivity reporting, inventory controls, and standard office applications.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily operations for inbound, outbound, inventory control, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, or value-added service activities.
• Direct and coach supervisors, team leads, and associates; establish clear expectations and accountability for results and behaviors.
• Monitor safety, service, productivity, quality, cost, inventory, and attendance metrics; take timely corrective action.
• Conduct shift start-up meetings, operational reviews, and handoffs communicating safety priorities, workload, staffing, risks, and required actions.
• Ensure compliance with policies, SOPs, quality requirements, security controls, and applicable laws.
• Promote a strong safety culture by completing observations, addressing hazards, supporting investigations, and ensuring corrective actions.
• Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to simplify work, reduce waste, improve throughput, and strengthen experience.
• Develop bench strength through cross-training, succession planning, and development plans for supervisors and emerging leaders.
