Job summary

ABB Distribution is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the 3rd shift in Mississippi. You will oversee receiving, order fulfillment, or shipping, set priorities, maintain floor presence, and drive safe, timely execution with accountability for quality and inventory accuracy.

You will use Blue Yonder WMS to track orders, coach Team Leaders, and conduct shift handoffs while leading continuous improvement efforts with the site HSE partner.

Qualifications

• 3+ years distribution or manufacturing supervision experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics or related field preferred.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma problem solving tools.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Plan and communicate workload, staffing assignments and priorities; adjust resources as conditions change.
• Supervise warehouse associates and ensure execution per schedule and procedures.
• Use the WMS to track orders, inventory and labor; maintain records and shift reports.
• Train/coach Team Leaders to understand and execute duties.
• Conduct performance appraisals for hourly staff.
• Provide coaching and development opportunities as needed.
• Lead daily shift handoff meetings for continuity of operations.
• Promote safe work practices and incident reporting with site HSE.
• Participate in facility-wide improvement projects.
