Job summary

VulcanForms is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and kitting. You will ensure safe, efficient, and accurate material movement while maintaining strong inventory control to support production and customer delivery.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in warehouse management, solid ERP experience (Epicor preferred), and proven leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse, distribution, or materials management experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• ERP experience required; inventory transactions and WM modules preferred.
• Strong understanding of inventory control and material flow.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Forklift certification or oversight experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and develop warehouse personnel with clear performance expectations.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound material flow to support production schedules and customer requirements.
• Ensure accurate receiving, inspection, labeling, staging, picking, packing, and shipping of materials and finished goods.
• Oversee kitting operations to ensure materials are accurately picked, organized, and delivered to production on schedule.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counting and physical inventory activities.
• Utilize the company ERP system to process transactions, track inventory, manage orders, and maintain accurate material records.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures, work instructions, and warehouse best practices.
• Monitor warehouse performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and proper material-handling procedures.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Quality, Customer Service, and other departments to resolve material and scheduling issues.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse.
