Job summary

Nippon Express USA is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations at our Miami facility. You will be responsible for inventory control, import/export compliance, bonded cargo operations, staff supervision, and ensuring safety and profitability of warehouse activities.

The role demands hands-on leadership, strong knowledge of import/export procedures, and proven ability to optimize workflows, KPIs, and customer communications in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse management, logistics, or operational leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee secure storage, handling, and regulatory compliance of imported goods.
• Ensure compliance with local customs laws, regulations, and bonded cargo requirements.
• Review import/export documents, customs declarations, cargo release forms for accuracy.
• Manage inventory control to ensure stock accuracy and accountability.
• Supervise receiving, storage, inventory movement, and shipping records in WMS.
• Lead warehouse supervisors and staff, providing training and guidance.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound dock schedules with ocean/air freight arrivals.
• Monitor KPIs: order accuracy, labor costs, dock-to-stock time, productivity.
• Ensure OSHA and safety regulations are followed.
• Improve warehouse workflows, equipment utilization, and efficiency.
• Communicate shipment status to customers; address delays and issues.
• Develop safety procedures and manage financial performance of warehouse operations.
• Identify risks and respond to emergencies and disruptions.
• Collaborate with transportation providers, freight forwarders, customs, customers.
