Job summary

Owens & Minor is a global healthcare solutions company with a large DC network. We seek an experienced Distribution Center leader to oversee receiving, warehousing, shipping, delivery, and inventory accuracy while driving safety, quality and efficiency improvements.

The role offers salary up to $95,000 with a 10% incentive and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities include directing DC operations, coaching managers, managing expenses, and ensuring SOP adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 9+ years of professional supply chain or warehouse operations experience, healthcare/medical device preferred.
• Previous supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain, logistics, distribution and warehouse management best practices.
• Strong financial acumen including prior profit and loss responsibilities.
• Ability to work fast and effectively in a matrix environment.
• Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs all DC operations including receiving, warehousing, shipping, delivery and inventory accuracy.
• Provide feedback and coaching to Operations Managers and Supervisors; initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Achieve financial goals for DC operating expenses (Warehouse, Occupancy, Inventory Shrink).
• Review and approve DC expenses and make capital recommendations where appropriate.
• Lead KPIs in Safety, Quality, Productivity and Turnover.
• Oversee customer service for DC and coordinate with Account Management and Corporate Ops.
• Ensure smooth onboarding of new customers and adherence to SOPs/WIs for warehouse management.
• Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement across sites and functions.
