Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of professional supply chain or warehouse operations experience with leadership capability.
• Knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, distribution, and warehouse management best practices.
• Main focus is outbound shipping.
• Ability to work quickly in a matrix environment.
• Proven leadership, people management, and team-building skills.
• Proven ability to analyze and apply continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Manages teammate time, attendance, and schedules for assigned functions.
• Provides proactive performance feedback and coaching to teammates.
• Oversees training to ensure teammates receive proper training.
• Participates in succession planning and identifies talent.
• Ensures KPIs are met in Safety, Quality, Productivity and Turnover.
• Implements and improves customer service for picking, packing, shipping and deliveries.
• Coordinates with Account Management, Transportation, CEC, and Corporate Operations as needed.
• Supports successful conversion of new customers at the distribution center.
