Job summary

Covetus is seeking an experienced warehouse automation specialist to lead design and deployment of automation solutions across facilities. You will coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality automation systems such as conveyors, sensors, robots, and AMRs.

The role requires hands-on engineering and strong collaboration with plant personnel, IT systems, and procurement. A focus on safety and continuous improvement will drive project success.

Qualifications

Experience in warehouse design and automation.
Hands-on deployment of automation solutions.
Knowledge of AMRs/COBOTS/robots/vision systems.
Understanding of WMS/WES/WCS integration.
Strong project management and safety compliance.
Supplier coordination and equipment selection.

Responsibilities

Design and re-design warehouse layouts and capacity calculations.
Collaborate with project managers, fabrication teams, and plant personnel.
Define scope, cost estimates, schedules.
Work with OEM suppliers in US/Europe/India for automation systems.
Track overall project status and provide updates.
Support installation, commissioning and handover at site.
Identify new opportunities and propose proactive solutions.
