ofi North America (Olam Food Ingredients) is seeking an Automation & Engineering Manager to lead design, implementation, and optimization of engineering and automation systems across our warehousing and distribution centers. You will drive projects from concept through implementation and collaborate with Operations, IT, Maintenance, and vendors.

The role requires 8–10 years in project engineering for warehousing or manufacturing, hands-on experience with conveyors, ASRS, robotics, WMS/WCS

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 8–10 years of project engineering experience in warehousing, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Experience with warehouse automation systems (conveyors, robotics, ASRS, AGVs).
• Knowledge of material handling equipment (MHE), industrial automation, and warehouse operations.
• Experience coordinating engineering projects, including vendor coordination, installation, commissioning, and on-site implementation.
• MS Project, Excel, Power BI experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead engineering projects across warehousing and distribution centers from concept through completion.
• Coordinate with Operations, IT, Maintenance, vendors, and stakeholders to define project scope and deliverables.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Manage contractors, vendors, and integrators during installation and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards.
• Design and implement automation solutions (conveyors, sorters, ASRS, robotics, WCS).
• Analyze processes for automation opportunities and continuous improvement.
• Support WMS/WCS integration with automation technologies.
• Conduct testing, validation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of automated systems.
• Provide engineering support to warehouse operations and troubleshooting.
• Perform root-cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor system performance and drive optimization.
• Assist with facility layout design and infrastructure planning.
• Develop reports and analytics using MS Project, Excel, Power BI.
