Job summary

AT&T is hiring to support a US Government Program that provides IT services to US Strategic Command in Omaha, NE. The Senior WAN Administrator role requires five days of office presence at the customer site in Bellevue, NE, and involves WAN design, implementation, and ongoing optimization to ensure secure, reliable connectivity.

The ideal candidate has several years of WAN experience, relevant Cisco certifications (CCNP/CCIE), and hands-on VPN, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and SD-WAN expertise.

Qualifications

• Experience in WAN design, implementation and optimization.
• Cisco certifications (CCNP/CCIE) or equivalent.
• Proficiency with MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VPNs and SD-WAN.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Security+ certification and readiness for ITIL 4 certification within 4 months of start.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize WAN solutions across multiple locations.
• Configure and manage WAN devices including routers, switches, firewalls.
• Monitor WAN performance and troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Maintain network security, VPNs, encryption, and access controls.
• Document configurations, diagrams, and SOPs; report on network health.
