Job summary

amtechnologies in Sterling, VA seeks a Senior Network Engineer with active TS/SCI clearance to design, secure and operate large-scale networks. You will support MBSE cloud platforms, configure routers/switches/firewalls, and ensure performance across Windows/Linux servers, Citrix and security tools.

Requirements include 10+ years in the field, STEM degrees, and Security+ CE with DoDD 8140 compliance. Micro-services and agile practices apply to daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly required; polygraph preferred.
• DoDD 8140 security standards; Security+ CE or higher.
• Experience designing and maintaining networks for 1,000+ users.
• Experience with SDN using Cisco technologies.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, construct and implement integrated network solutions.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for enterprise transport requests.
• Create topology and rack elevation diagrams.
• Consult on high level designs, platform sizing and infrastructure.
• Apply knowledge to identify integrated enterprise solutions.
• Provide network administration for development and deployment.
• Assess impact of system changes and communicate status to leadership.
• Work as part of an Agile scrum team.
