Job summary

Boutique Recruiting is seeking a Mid-Senior Level Associate to handle complex wage-and-hour litigation in California, spanning state and federal courts, from inception to resolution.

The role requires five+ years of experience in CA Labor Code, PAGA and FLSA matters, strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Salary range $245,000 - $270,000 / Year DOE.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of wage and hour litigation experience.
• Experience in CA Labor Code, PAGA, and FLSA matters.
• Proven ability to manage matters from inception through resolution.
• Excellent writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort developing strategy in PAGA representative actions.

Responsibilities

• Draft and respond to discovery and initial pleadings.
• Draft and argue motions.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Defend employers in wage and hour class, collective, and representative actions in CA.
• Manage written discovery and prepare key motions, including class certification and decertification.
