Job summary

WD is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a 30–45 person team in wafer production, coordinating with manufacturing, maintenance, process, and equipment engineering to improve downtime, efficiency, and product quality.

You will address tooling or processing issues, drive changes as directed, promote Lean and Kaizen, and coach operators toward safety, output and on‑time delivery in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; wafer manufacturing knowledge preferred.
• Experience with SPC, shop-floor control systems, and Lean principles.
• Ability to extract and present process data for decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead 30–45 operators, ensure staffing to meet production goals.
• Plan training and monitor production requirements and priorities.
• Identify and resolve problems impacting output or quality and drive continuous improvement.
