Job summary

SGS Consulting in the United States seeks a senior graphics engineer to propel a high-performance rendering engine for cutting-edge research experiences. You will work with an experienced team to turn concepts into demonstrable results.

You will implement and optimize features in a Vulkan-based engine, profile GPU/CPU performance for multi-GPU and XR rendering, and help integrate the engine with cross-disciplinary systems across the lab and company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related technical fields, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and substantial hands-on Vulkan development.
• Experience with desktop graphics development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize features in a modern Vulkan rendering engine.
• Profile and optimize GPU/CPU performance across rendering pipeline, including multi-GPU and XR rendering.
• Implement and improve features like deferred shading, ray tracing, and HDR.
• Push display quality with high refresh-rate rendering and HDR color accuracy.
• Integrate engine with lab and company systems and write documentation.
