Job summary

AlixPartners is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer — Senior Vice President to lead the AI-native development platform infrastructure and delivery pipelines. You will build and operate the substrate that supports all products, focusing on multi-tenant isolation, secure gates, and observable, cost-aware deployments.

The role is hybrid with travel; you will collaborate across security, delivery, and developer experience to raise platform standards and enable teams to ship confidently.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software/platform engineering or related field.
• Hands-on IaC at fleet scale using Terraform/OpenTofu with Terragrunt.
• Production multi-tenant Kubernetes experience including GitOps and workload identity.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines as a shared platform with gate enforcement.
• Security/compliance as code tools and SOC2/ISO27001 evidence.

Responsibilities

• Build the platform runtime with containerized isolation and module contracts.
• Design scalable infrastructure as code with versioned templates/images.
• Make environment lifecycle one-command via PR merge and PR cleanup.
• Design federated identity and network for just-in-time access.
• Provide telemetry and cost visibility with SLOs and alerting.
