Job summary

Jobot is seeking a senior operations leader to run a scalable MEP platform with high impact and leadership oversight across divisions. You will diagnose performance, identify root causes, and drive fixes while staying hands-on with field operations.

This remote-based role requires VP+ experience in an MEP contractor/construction firm, about 50% travel, and Midwest residency. You’ll report to senior leadership, shape playbooks, and unlock value through acquisitions and integration.

Qualifications

• Must have VP or above level experience within an MEP contractor/construction firm.
• Experience integrating and standardizing acquired or multi-location businesses.
• Willingness to travel ~50% and reside in the Midwest.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the go-to operations leader across all divisions, partnering with division and operating-company leaders.
• Diagnose operational challenges, identify root causes, and lead practical, lasting fixes.
• Prioritize the divisions and locations with the greatest opportunity for improvement.
• Standardize and strengthen operating processes across a multi-site footprint.
• Bring structure and operational discipline to recently acquired businesses.
• Operate strategically while staying hands-on and close to the field.
