Job summary

Starr Insurance Companies seeks a Vice President – Product Development Leader to drive the creation and enhancement of insurance products and oversee their market introduction across Starr’s profit centers. You will coordinate with underwriting, actuarial, claims, legal, compliance, IT, operations, and distribution to ensure successful development, filing, and launch.

The role requires 10+ years in commercial insurance product leadership, with strong governance, pricing, and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Insurance, or related field; advanced degree or professional designation preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in commercial insurance product development, underwriting, or product leadership, including recent Director- or VP-level experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership for the creation and ongoing enhancement of insurance products, endorsements and coverage improvements.
• Translate opportunities into actionable product development plans with milestones and success measures.
• Lead cross-functional engagement across underwriting, actuarial, claims, legal, compliance, IT, operations, and distribution.
