BNY seeks an experienced Senior Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting Manager. This role involves directing multiple Fund Accounting teams and ensuring effective management and operational objectives. You'll address client relationships, oversee fund performance accountability, and evaluate impacts of regulations on accounting practices.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in accounting and 5-7 years of experience, with a preference for Big 4 backgrounds. The position offers a competitive salary range of $102,000 to $228,000 per year along with comprehensive benefits including health insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of total work experience with at least 1-3 years in management preferred.
• Experience at a Big 4 accounting firm preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct multiple Fund Accounting teams responsible for accounting services.
• Manage financial and human resources to ensure effective team operation.
• Oversee processes to determine the NAV for assigned funds.
• Resolve escalated issues related to fund calculations and accounting.
• Guide departments in maintaining accurate accounting records.
• Evaluate new regulations' impact on fund accounting practices.
• Set guidelines for drafting financial reports for client review.
• Develop staff to maximize contributions and effective teamwork.
• Ensure financial reports accurately reflect fund performance.
• Manage multiple teams through subordinate managers.
