BNY is seeking a Specialist, (Non Supervisory), Fund/Client Accounting Representative II in Boston to lead a medium-sized fund accounting support team and oversee NAV production for complex funds. The role emphasizes accuracy, timely reporting, and collaboration with clients and internal partners.

The ideal candidate will have a accounting degree and 5–7 years of experience, with a track record in NAV production, reporting, and handling complex data issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of total work experience (preferred).
• Experience in NAV production, reporting, and resolving complex data issues (preferred).
• Experience preparing and coordinating system-generated reports and reviewing the work of junior team members (preferred).
• People leadership: no direct reports; may have work allocation and team lead responsibilities, and client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations for a fund accounting support team, providing work direction and technical assistance on complex matters.
• Oversee NAV production functions and reporting for more complex funds, including NAV construction and validation, review, dissemination, and reporting activities.
• Review data, resolve escalated issues during accounting cycles, and maintain records for higher-complexity funds per policies.
• Drive process improvements, establish data maintenance processes to enhance efficiency and client communication.
