Job summary

BNY Mellon in New York seeks a Senior Associate Fund/Client Accounting to join the Fund Accounting team. You will conduct accounting services for assigned clients and moderately complex funds, determine net asset values, calculate fund performance, allocate expenses and prepare client reports.

You will review cash and asset reconciliations, guide junior staff, and draft reports on complex funds. Regularly interact with clients to answer questions and resolve issues regarding fund reporting and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
5–7 years of total work experience preferred.
Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct accounting services for assigned clients and moderately complex funds: determine net asset values, calculate fund performance, allocate expenses, and prepare reports.
Perform complex Fund/Client Accounting responsibilities, drive service improvements, target efficiencies, enhance processes and review junior staff.
Provide guidance on cash and asset reconciliations for complex accounts; resolve reconciliation issues and review junior work.
Draft client reports on complex fund performance and review drafts by junior staff; interact with clients to resolve questions about fund reports.
