Axos Bank is seeking a Credit Administrator to oversee credit reviews, loan structuring, and collaboration with legal counsel for a commercial lending portfolio. The role emphasizes risk assessment, deal team collaboration, and adherence to credit policies.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 12+ years of related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of commercial credit framework and basic commercial credit legal documentation principles.
• Superior credit analysis skills.
• Completion of a formal Credit Training Program at a major financial institution.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Act as a key member of a deal team, reviewing and evaluating new credit proposals, amendments, and renewals for a portfolio of commercial borrowers.
• Approve proposed extensions of credit within authorized loan limits.
• Develop alternative strategies on credits with business units.
• Review pipeline, maturities, and delinquency reports and engage business units for action.
• Engage with credit portfolio management to monitor risk of a portfolio.
• Approve periodic loan reviews and confirm risk rating accuracy.
• Guide on credit issues including proper structuring and early detection of problem loans.
• Assist in managing problem loan credits.
• Collaborate with business units and legal counsel on loan documentation.
• Understand industry trends to manage credit risk and update policies.
