Job summary

Bank of China USA seeks a Senior VP/VP to support branch leadership in developing and managing syndicated and bilateral loan portfolios. You will lead client relationships, perform financial analysis, and structure loan products in alignment with risk policies.

This role emphasizes cross-functional teamwork with Credit Risk, Compliance, and Branch Management to grow the business while maintaining strict due diligence and post-lending oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; master preferred but not required.
• 5+ years in corporate/commercial real estate relationship management; 7+ years total experience.
• 7+ years in commercial lending within banking is preferred.
• Strong relationship-building and marketing abilities.
• Knowledge of risk management, assessment, and due diligence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage syndicated loans, bilateral loans, and related portfolios.
• Serve as primary contact for customer relationships and ensure timely compliance.
• Perform due diligence, underwriting, and prepare credit proposals for loan committees.
• Coordinate with Credit Risk to ensure compliance with policies.
• Oversee post-lending monitoring and loan closings; renewals as needed.
• Assist with admin duties and maintain client relationships for growth.
