Job summary

Pathward, National Association is seeking a seasoned Corporate Communications Leader to drive integrated internal and external communications that align with our strategy, culture, and priorities. You will guide executives on messaging, engagement, and planning, and oversee enterprise storytelling across audiences.

You will develop messaging frameworks, manage media relations, and direct communications for organizational change, ensuring governance and channel effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience; Master's degree preferred.
• Typically, 12+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.
• Scope encompasses one or more corporate communications functional areas and enterprise communication policy.
• Decisions establish enterprise direction for messaging, reputation, channels, governance, and resource priorities.
• Work connects corporate strategy, culture, performance, and stakeholder expectations through integrated communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated internal and external communications strategies aligned with priorities and business objectives.
• Advise executives on messaging, stakeholder engagement, reputation management, and planning.
• Develop enterprise messaging frameworks, narratives, and plans linking strategy, culture, performance, and impact.
• Oversee media relations, public relations, corporate announcements, spokesperson support, and external communications.
• Lead employee communications programs, campaigns, and events reinforcing strategic priorities and engagement.
• Govern channels, editorial calendars, content planning, approvals, and standards across the enterprise.
• Direct corporate storytelling and content development for enterprise, executive, employee, and external audiences.
• Create and oversee executive communications, including presentations and town halls.
• Lead communications for organizational change, business transformation, initiatives, issues, and crises.
• Monitor effectiveness using audience data to improve strategies, channels, and programs.
• Travel up to 10% for offsite meetings.
